Hey guys,

Today i went to go start my truck up leaving a pizza joint, and the idle was real rough. Immediately i thought to myself, im having an cylinder misfire. The truck only does it when im going speeds of like 0-15mph, or slowing down to a stop. And like I said, the idle is real low. It doesnt have as much power when I get on it, and the check engine light came on and sometimes flashes. I have to wait till tomorrow to hook it up and see what the code is, but it sounds like a misfire to me.. Does this sound logical to anyone else? The only thing that befuddled me is that when you have an cylinder misfire, don't you hear a popping noise?

same here. Look underneath your upper intake for an uncovered nipple, for lack of better words.

yeah just as a thought, it was a cylinder misfire. whoever did my tuneup put a too short of spark plug wire going to my 3rd cylinder, causing the wire to touch the exhaust manifold, burning the wire and causing an arch.
