My 2016 Explorer has 80,000 miles and now when the car is in or out of Active Cruse Control it will stutter while accelerating. This happens more when I am driving on the freeway (for example) and I slowdown to 30 or 40 mph and then accelerate the car stutters of a couple seconds and then takes off just fine. What causes this? Fuel Injectors dirty?

Have you ever tried putting a can of Seafoam in your gas tank? I would try that and clean the throttle body. You are also about due for spark plugs.
