What is the recommendation for air pressure in a 2003 Ford Explorer for under normal highway use?.The manual says front 30 rear 35.

My door jam on my Sport says 30 front and 35 rear.

Is that the air pressure that you are using?30 front 35 rear.Mine are at 32 front and 32 rear.I was wondering if using the mfg rating would give a better tread wear.

Nope. I run 37 front and rear. My tires go up to 44 max. though. I love the ride at 37.

I have mine at 34, I believe. I don't like to have it too high around town with so many bumps and potholes and such. I pump it up to at least 38 when I go on road trips, which I'll do when I drive home to New Jersey for Christmas.
