Hi,

I recently bought a used 1999 2 door manual Ford Explorer.

I like it, however, a few things are not working, including the auxiliary power plug, In mine, it's the one under the main cig lighter, which does work.

I checked the fuses, they all seem fine.

Anyone know why it is not working and how to fix it?

Here's what worked for me. After some tracing around I found out that the auxillary fuse is NOT located in the dash fuse panel. in my 95 it's located in the distribution box under the hood. your 99 should be the same, just different box layout. If that doesn't work for you, check your wiring behind the radio...chances are one of the wires has become pinched or someone has replaced the radio and wired into the cig lighter. hope this helps! goodluck
