Door Ajar Module

Hey, have any one replaced there Door Ajar Module before? any one have the part number for it?

I have spayed so so much WWD40 and it just will not work any more it take 15- 20 door slams to get it off.

Can i just diconnect that door and everything will still work normal?

Are you sure that it isn't just the door latch itself?

I agree with Don. There is a connection to each door latch that corrodes because of its placement. It only holds two wires that complete a circuit when the door is closed.

You can view and make sure the connection is good but you have to pull the inner door trim off and play inside the door.

I dont think it is the latch because the door works fine besides the door ajar

The door ajar switch is in the latch. One wire runs to that circuit instead of the old door jamb type.
