I recently got a 2003 Explorer XLS and the body roll is driving me nuts. I wanna lower the car, not only cause it looks good but i also heard it will make the car ride better. Is this true? Will lowering the car make it drive better and eliminate some or all of the body roll?

I saw two lowering kits online,
Ground Force (http://www.stylintrucks.com/parts/ground_force_lowering_kits/1104000064_1331.aspx)
and Belltech (http://www.stylintrucks.com/parts/belltech_stage_1_lowering_kits_without_shocks/1104000064_23553.aspx)
Which one is better and do i have to buy shocks? Are they really neccesary? What if i dont?

Please let me know what you guys think

The biggest bang for the buck will be poly sway bar bushings and upgraded bars if they are made. I've heard the lowering kits hurt the ride in the Gen3.

A big help will be to reduce the tire sidewall by increasing the rim diameter.
