I like that silver and that moonroof! 8)
Here is a little photoshop work I did a couple weeks ago. I added headlight covers and tinted the taillights, shaved the passenger side key hole, put some BSW tires, and added some Centerline Avenger wheels in the 16" size (If I ever really bought them I probably would never go with begger than a 17" rim). Also, note that the step bars are on in this pic. I used a pic from before I took off the bars for the photoshop. Let me know what you think.

That would look great! I definitely say at least go with 17's. 16's are just too small, but i know budget is a priority. I definitely think you should have your front two windows tinted as well. No matter what, you have a sleek X. I would say maybe down the road paint your cladding to match and that would make a world of a difference! 8)
I think your X would look good with tinted tails! not feeling the head light cover though... those rims look cool! When you gonna get them?

I think the clear corners are much better than blackouts, but if he doesnt have blackouts up front it would look way out of place to have tinted tails, esp on a silver Ex.

Yeah without the headlight covers the tinted tails didn't look right since my X is silver. I won't be getting rims for years. That's why I made sure my X had the factory premium rims that I like. I would like to tint the front windows a bit. We'll see what my mother says about that before I leave for AZ next August. Pretty much everything I do has to be cleared by her and well, there isn't much that I can get by with and rims isnt' one of them. Oh well. I'm happy with my X as is right now. Oh, and I don't think I'd ever paint the lower cladding. I love the two-tone look. The '95 X had two-tone and I'm glad this one does it. It looks great IMO.
Looks too much like plastic, i.e. tupperware, wrapped around the truck. That's why I love my gen Sports, because it doesnt have that to begin with.
It does kinda look like plastic but I still like the look of the truck. At least the whole front end isn't plastic looking like the Escape.

Awesome. I'm getting those real soon.
$$$$$???? If you don't mind me asking.

EE lists them for about $179 or 200 or so per mirror.
Ouch, that kinda cheddar will buy more speed or handling in my book! They are nice though.
Exactly. I got these LED turn signal lights that you stick onto your mirror, and snake the wire through the mirror, through the door, and into your battery and it produces the same effect for only $20. It looks the exact same too once its done.
I got these for $230 shipped from www.kwmuth.com. They were installed by the Lincoln/Mercury dealer that services my X for $225. Well worth it IMO. I'm very happy with the outcome.
They installed it for $225?!

What a ripoff! I would've just installed it myself.
