Is anyone familiar with this piece on the underside of the 2011 Ford Explorer and what the part numbers are for the piece or just the screws clips? They aren't like a Dorman and are metal with a flat head you can grab to turn. (see first two pictures for screw).

Upon closer inspection, it looks like an air intake but seems to just direct air up into the engine compartment.

Are the screws like that just so you can take it off when offroading to gain clearance, without needing hand tools to do it?

I'm not familiar with them but I see what looks like a blind hole where you noted "Possible missing screw" and yet the plastic piece hanging down in the same pic doesn't look like it extends over that far.

So, I can't make heads or tails of your picture but wonder if whatever the screw threads into is still in the hole and if you could just use a same sized bolt if you don't need to get it off by hand, or just scavenge a junkyard for the part(s).
